Cybersri
Cybersri is a project set up by Department of SC/ST Development, Government of Kerala for providing advanced IT training and industry incubation centre for SC/ST students in Kerala. The centre was set up in CDIT premises and started functioning since 2003. The centre has successfully completed 2 batches of advanced IT training for BTech/MCA/MSc Computer Science candidates among SC/ST categories. The centre also ensures placements for these trained technical persons. In addition to this the centre initiated the following training programs also.

Digital Still photography E-mail

The development of digital technology has made an impact in still photography world. As a result traditional still photography (photographic film) changed in to Digital Photography. Digital imaging, processing and computer-based techniques had made it possible to manipulate images in many ways, creating revolutionary changes in photography. This course is offered in order to equip the upcoming photographers and professionals who are belonging to SC/ST category.


In 2008-09, 100 trainees were well trained and most of them are engaged in the Digital Still photography.

Digital Image;

Technical aspects of the Digital Image:

Pixels,
Resolution,
Bit Depth,
Dynamic Range and Noise;
Types of Digital Cameras, their Features and Operations;
Digital Image Processing and Editing, Compositing
